Waiting for the total eclipse at Bryce Canyon
In May 2012 we experienced an incredibly rare ‘ring of fire’ eclipse of the sun, where the black disk of the moon is fringed with brilliant fire from the sun. A couple of thousand people came from all over the world to witness this with us at the edge of Bryce Canyon in Utah.
Legend has it that these cliffs and hoodoos were first found by a settler looking for a lost cow. What a terrible place to lose livestock!
